With over 27 years of experience in the telecommunication industry, Mr. Ashish is the CEO and MD at Bharti Airtel Sri Lanka , where he leads the business operations, strategy, and performance of one of the fastest-growing mobile service providers in the country. He has a proven track record of setting up new businesses, merger and acqusitions , achieving financial turnarounds, increasing revenue market share, and managing large-scale operations in challenging and competitive markets.

His core competencies include sales and marketing, product and brand management, business planning and strategy, retail and e-commerce, and enterprise account management. He is passionate about delivering customer-centric solutions, driving innovation and digital transformation, and creating a culture of excellence and collaboration. He has a strong educational background with MBA and BE. He is alumni of IMD Business School Lausanne, National Institute of Technology, IIM Ahmadabad and Indian School of Business.

Mr. Mangal Dev started his professional career with Maruti Suzuki in their Engineering and R&D centre in the year 1989 and thereafter contributed to several multinational conglomerates including General Electric Co., Alstom, and Hitachi at leadership positions driving growth in the respective companies.
